  9. IMPORTANT, READ BEFORE CONTINUING!

  11. *  If you have a prior installation of Handy Spell on
  12. this computer:
  13.  
  14. 1) Please make sure that Handy Spell is NOT running
  15. and make sure that Handy Link (HandyLink.exe -
  16. Handy Spell's tray icon link) is also NOT running.
  17. If the Handy Spell icon is showing in the operating
  18. system's icon tray, then Handy Link is running.
  19. Please make sure to close the link (right-click on the
  20. icon and choose 'Close Link') before uninstalling the
  21. prior installation of Handy Spell or installing this version
  22. of Handy Spell. 
  23.  
  24. 2) After you make sure of the above, please uninstall
  25. that prior installation of Handy Spell before continuing
  26. with this installation of Handy Spell. If you elect not to
  27. do this, this version of Handy Spell will still install, but
  28. some files may not be updated correctly and some
  29. unneeded 'uninstall' links may be left registered
  30. on your operating system.

  32. UNINSTALL PROCEDURE:
  33. Use the operating system's 'Add/Remove Programs' 
  34. facility.
  35.  
  36. NOTE:
  37. Do NOT remove the directory Handy Spell was
  38. installed in if the uninstall procedure did not remove
  39. it because you will lose all words you added to the
  40. user dictionaries and you may lose any extra main
  41. dictionaries you have installed.
