- * If you have a prior installation of Handy Spell on
- this computer:
-
- 1) Please make sure that Handy Spell is NOT running
- and make sure that Handy Link (HandyLink.exe -
- Handy Spell's tray icon link) is also NOT running.
- If the Handy Spell icon is showing in the operating
- system's icon tray, then Handy Link is running.
- Please make sure to close the link (right-click on the
- icon and choose 'Close Link') before uninstalling the
- prior installation of Handy Spell or installing this version
- of Handy Spell.

- 2) After you make sure of the above, please uninstall
- that prior installation of Handy Spell before continuing
- with this installation of Handy Spell. If you elect not to
- do this, this version of Handy Spell will still install, but
- some files may not be updated correctly and some
- unneeded 'uninstall' links may be left registered
- on your operating system.

- UNINSTALL PROCEDURE:
- Use the operating system's 'Add/Remove Programs'
- facility.

- NOTE:
- Do NOT remove the directory Handy Spell was
- installed in if the uninstall procedure did not remove
- it because you will lose all words you added to the
- user dictionaries and you may lose any extra main
- dictionaries you have installed.
